Tulsa Revolution Pro Soccer Team Comes Back To Tulsa Says Adam Mellor

Launching the original 'Revolution' in 2008 Unfortunately the League went broke-But Mellor's Dream did NOT die!

Adam Mellor had a dream as a boy growing up on the mission field and that dream was to play soccer.

Fast forward a decade and a half later and a College scholarship that landed him in Kansas he we was ready to play. An injury, however, would say otherwise but Mellor never let go of his dream. His love and appreciation for the support makes it the second time Adam has brought Professional Soccer back to the city of Tulsa.

“We were honored to be a part of the ‘original revolution’ in 2008 being one of the ‘Founding Sponsors’ and Emceeing the home games. “It was great seeing all the local and imported talent that made up ‘The Revolution! Tyler Jones’ Love of Sports Reaches Beyond Tulsa Says Michael D. Butler M3 New Media

Editors Note: Every year Michael D. Butler and parent Company M3 New Media recognize local teens who are making a positive impact in Tulsa and Broken Arrow. This month we feature Tyler D. Jones and his local support that has made a difference for one local OU Sooner.

Tyler Jones is a sportscaster in the Tulsa/Broken Arrow, Oklahoma market. Jones follows sports like some men follow attractive women.

Jones is currently running an online radio operation (Tyler Jones Radio Group) with multiple shows and serving as the Sports Director for Broken Arrow’s BATV. Tyler is also the new play-by-play voice of Broken Arrow High School Basketball, calling games with former Broken Arrow Ledger Sports Editor Steve Cowen on BrokenArrowTigers.tv.

Jones’ radio operation includes two featured shows, “The Dr. Report with Tyler Jones” and “The Dr. Report with Tyler Jones: Football Friday Edition”.         Jones recently worked with Oklahoma student and Miss Broken Arrow title holder Kelsie Berg on a campaign with the Dr. Pepper Tution sweepstakes. Jones used his radio show’s Twitter & Facebook pages to promote the cause (@TylerJonesLive, @Dr_Report & Facebook.com/TylerJonesRadio).
Kelsie appeared on the The Dr. Report and gave a stellar interview with Tyler. Berg would go on to win the sweepstakes and $100,000 from Dr. Pepper. Jones called the moment, “One of the happiest moments of my career.
         What’s next for Jones? Jones has done some great things recently, but he’s currently not done. Tyler will interview in the coming days Former KOKI Fox 23 Tulsa Sports Anchor Dave Briggs. Dave is the co-host of the new NBC Sports Network Show that debuts January 28th, “The Crossover”.  Briggs hosts the show with Former ESPN “SportSNation” Host, Michelle Beadle. Jones has previously interviewed notable names that include Mario Andretti, Christian Laettner, Charles Davis, Joel Klatt, Jeff Hammond and Laura McKeeman.
Jones’ next Broken Arrow Basketball broadcast will be January 15th when the Tigers take on defending 6A State Champs, Tulsa-Union Redskins.
