Leadership Voids & Technology Gaps

Believe it or not, I was thinking as the world’s population gets bigger, basically, we need a bigger campfire. This has led to a lot of unexpected problems, but also awesome technology.

Then I remembered this tool. Kind of expensive. I have used Google for free so I’m not sure I would use this or not, but they have a page of pricing stuff so that is why I’m showing you. I like the simplicity of the pages here. When things get more complex, simplicity doesn’t work so well as a mobile apps page.

That, and of course, there is that lady who developed a twitter apps company. I’ll have to review that again when I have time. I also don’t like the Navy Blue Ribbon as a color for child sex trafficking. I tried translucent, but that is pretty weird too, even when you put Oath or those other companies logos on top, the color then changes and defeats the purpose of clear. I kind of like Black, like against Pirates. Do you think pirates are sex traffickers? Anti-pirate campaign? Kind of funky isn’t it.

‘We Will Wait Students’ Rise in Response on Facebook to the Bounty Put on Tim Tebow’s Virginity 5/7/12

Read the full Press Release put out by M3NewMediaPR here. With the recent challenge from an adult website to put a bounty on Tebow’s virginity, students across America are rising up in a healthy rebellion pledging to wait until they are married to have sex as apart of a campaign called, “We Will Wait.” Using social media to get their message out they are posting pictures, videos, and responses making the statement, “We Will Wait” at http://WeWillWait.org

Sacramento Youth Pastor, Cole Zick says, “We believe that there is a large group of the young adult population that are choosing to make abstinence a lifestyle. Regardless of if they are virgins, have been sexually active, or are some where in the middle, many are choosing to wait starting today.”

This is all being done through Facebook, Twitter, and the WeWillWait.org Website. Many students have already posted videos, the web page’s green logo has begun to circulate through social media circles and it’s rumored that Tim Tebow may have even, “liked” a couple photos that were spread by the movement.

The overall message of the site is that; regardless of where you are at currently, today you can make the choice to wait. “This is not a call to perfection but rather a focus on the value of an individual,” says wewillwait.org. It goes on to say,” By making sex casual we have robbed marriage and the concepts of family long before people ever get to that phase of life.” The final statement in the opening blog sums up their goal, “If we all come together this movement can make a difference to restore truth to this country and take the casual back out of sex.”

The We Will Wait Movement is sponsored by
Capital Christian Center and Oxygen Youth Ministries of Sacramento, CA and can be followed on Facebook.com/WeWillWait

And by “The Hard Way” a new book where every day hurt meets lasting hope. Released June 2012 http://www.twitter.com/jeremy_donovan  JeremyDonovan.me
