Pope Francis Dead at 88 as the Catholic Church Mourns Globally for the Pontiff

Confessing sins to a human priest is worthless, Jesus Christ is the ONLY GREAT HIGH PRIEST, he’s the only one that atones for sin, a human priest may relieve guilt but does not have the power to transform you and save you like Jesus.

Just like in Evangelical Churches w/ Pastors there are good and bad priests but we ONLY follow humans as they follow Christ. God is our judge, my Judge your Judge and John Paul’s Judge.

If their doctrine is unscriptural that’s where we stop following them. The Bible is the ultimate authority and Jesus is the only way of salvation. No there are not MANY ways to heaven, THERE IS ONLY ONE and it’s thru Jesus only.

The Pope was the Sovereign of Rome but he’s not Sovereign, Only King Jesus is Sovereign

You’ll hear the news media and a lot of well meaning Catholics that are good Catholics and even born again Catholics eulogize the Pontiff and extol him the next few days as if he were deity, he was not, he was a flawed man, a human, like all of us in need of a Savior. Just like Peter and me and like you, we all are lost and our own righteousness is as filthy rags and we need Jesus to save us and make us righteous.

The only Savior that can redeem us from being lost eternally is the one who tore the veil in the temple morning he arose after He said “It is finished”

Pope John Paul lived to be 88 and has succumbed to death and has met his maker as we all will. He stands before the Lord now not as a Pontiff but as a human who had an assignment on this earth.

Prayers for those who mourn and my friends in the Catholic Church. So sorry for your loss. Look to Jesus the Only True High Priest. As far as John Paul, don’t bother praying for his soul, it’s too late to do that.

Many are hurting and seeking now, I pray you find Jesus, the Prince of Peace, the only one who can truly give you peace.
